  Marvelous little gem in Blue Ridge! The owner is German, and he is friendly and helpful! He was always smiling too. The coffee is some not the best I've had. It's a medium bild, but not bitter in the slightest. None of their coffee beans are over a week old. Very fresh! They have coconut milk if you have dairy issues. Be sure to get a big slice of the apple strudel. It's almost just like my Granny used to make! It is full of nuts and apples! I ate the whole big piece! Yum!

  The staff was kind, but after working at coffeeshops for seventeen years, I've come to know a couple of things about coffee. When you put steamed milk in it, you should still be able to taste coffee. I had a cafe au lait, but I had to buy two shots of espresso and add it in order to make it taste like coffee, instead of hot milk and hot water. It's such a cute place. I hope that they learn to brew their coffee with the right balance.
