  This place is a bit tricky to find but worth it. They specialize in pizza but have sandwiches and salads, plus a few other things. If you're on the main strip in Blue Ridge, this place is behind and down from the buildings along the road. It's near the train tracks.
  
  You seat yourself and just grab your own drinks from the community beverage table. It's cool because it doesn't feel like the traditional self service beverage stations in restaurants. I can't say why, but it's more inviting.
  
  We had two pizzas and a chicken parmesan sandwich. Service was fairly quick. You order by going up to the host stand. The biggest issue I see is that they've got too many of the same people doing different jobs concurrently. The host is seating, explaining the concept, and taking orders all in the same small place RIGHT in the main entrance. When it's busy it gets messy up there.
  
  I had trouble paying too. You pay at the end of the bar but the bartender was busy so a guy who had just clocked in for his shift at the register took payment for me. I could tell he was there for other things but he offered to help. I'd been standing there for close to 10 minutes already so no telling how much longer.
  
  We'd definitely come back. The waiting aside, the staff was very accommodating and the food was really good. There's lots more on the menu I'd try.

  My wife and I went to Masseria during our winter break last week. We've been here several times and have really enjoyed each visit. The Pizza has always been very good and the atmosphere is nice. However, we had a different experience this time. We sat at the bar on this occasion. We ordered pizza and beer. The pizza is thin crust, which I especially like. But this time the crust was not done. It tasted soggy. You could barely pick it up. Also, the price of the beer is super high! I had two beers and my wife had one. The price just for the 3 beers was $20. The Allagash White I ordered was $7 and the Apple Cider my wife ordered was $6. We're not talking craft beer here or growler spot beers. That's ridiculous. Unfortunately, with the experience we had this time, it may have been our last at Masseria. I may give the pizza one more shot on our next visit, but definitely won't be ordering any more beers there.
